Opals is hand-dyed 50% silk, 50% wool, available in 30 subtly variegated colors, same as Jewels, Aztecs, and Moonbeams. This range compliments stranded silk Aztecs, perle silk Jewels and natural mohair Moonbeams, making it easy to blend the four ranges.

Each of the 10 Opals families has been inspired by an Australian Gemstone. The Opals families are Agate, Amethyst, Emerald, Garnet, Jade, Jasper, Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz and Turquoise. Each family has a light (LT), medium (MD), and dark (DK) shade.
